Decorating Contest Registration
Get out the Red Flannels, show your Red Flannel pride and decorate the outside of your house, business or yard. Reminder, the decorations MUST be visible from the street. Nominate your own or a friends home or business in the Cedar Springs area. Email the home/business owners name and address by noon, September 27, 2022, to the Red Flannel Festival office events@redflannelfestival.org. You can also US Mail your nomination to Red Flannel Festival, PO Box 43, Cedar Springs MI 49319. The addresses will be posted so all can enjoy! Judging take place anonymously from the street before sunset October 1-7, 2023
Cash Prizes:
- First Place – $100
Second Place – $75
Third Place – $25
Judging:
Judges will look for the following criteria:
- Creativity
- Effective Use of Space
- Use of the Festival Theme
- Craftsmanship, Sound, Animation, Interaction & Special Effects
- Overall Quality and Organization of Decorations
Homes and businesses will be judged in separate categories. We will have separate winners for the home category and the business category.
